We kicked off our Texas road trip with a weekend in Dallas. We had the most amazing time hosting a pop-up with Alice + Olivia at Highland Park Village, met some of the coolest clients, and of course, created some insane big hat magic. Dallas is filled with the best shopping, food, and nightlife. Below are our top picks!
How cute are these?!
Started by sisters Lizzie Means Duplantis and Sarah Means, Miron Crosby is a bespoke boot brand and store in Dallas’s Highland Park Village shopping center. The brand is inspired by the sisters’ experiences of growing up on their family’s West Texas cattle ranch, and later living and working in New York City. We love their shorty style and pair them with everything from sweet sundresses to jeans and a sweater!
25 Highland Park Village #201
Since its opening in 2004, Grange Hall has become a beloved institution in Dallas for curiosities and off-the-beaten-path finds. Owners Rajan Patel and Jeffrey Lee curate vibrant and unique jewelry, handbags, apothecary, floral & other luxurious oddities. The fabulous restaurant tucked behind the retail is a classic Dallas ladies-who-lunch spot, but also decidedly not snobby- despite the name of the classic snob sandwich on the menu!

Creating Big Hat Magic at Alice + Olivia in Highland Park Village
Highland Park Village is the place to shop in Dallas. Between LoveShackFancy, Alice + Olivia, and Miron Crosby- there’s almost too many options. Stop in Bird Bakery for a California turkey sandwich and a cupcake for lunch, and after a long day of shopping, fajitas and a Mambo Taxi at Dallas institution Mi Cocina is a must. Special shoutout to Alice + Olivia for hosting our Dallas pop-up!

Knox/Henderson
The Knox/Henderson neighborhood is a trendy neighborhood with tons of cool nightlife, restaurants, and shopping. Highlights are brunch at Taverna for amazing shrimp scampi and $2 mimosas, lunch at Gemma, happy hour martinis and dinner at Up On Knox, drinks at pop-art filled bar Felix Culpa, and late night tacos at Velvet Taco (the elote is to die for).

We love La La Land Kind Cafe for their amazing coffee and toasts, but more importantly, we love their mission- to hire foster youth and to normalize kindness. La La Land truly cares about their community and prioritizes being intentionally kind to everyone.

Dallas Friends!
With collections ranging from Dali to Frida Kahlo to local Texan artists, the Dallas Museum of Art is a must. Located in downtown Dallas in the arts district, you’ll enjoy exploring the neighborhood as much as the museum.
1717 North Harwood
Located in Uptown Dallas, Hotel Zaza is an eclectic boutique hotel with the coolest rooms- each one is completely unique! The hotel also has a great pool, and great people watching at the restaurant and bar.
2332 Leonard St
The Joule is a revitalized 1920s neo-Gothic landmark building set in the heart of Dallas’ central business district. Home to extraordinary boutiques and art installations, The Joule is sophisticated but incredibly cool. Being adjacent to the original Neiman Marcus also doesn’t hurt…
