We first want to thank you for your outpouring of love and support over the past two months. You have been our biggest motivation to keep creating during these trying times, and we are incredibly grateful.
With that being said, on Friday, May 8th, we opened our doors in Malibu for curb-side pick up following guidance from our State government officials and now, May 27th, we are excited to announce that you are welcome to book appointments to shop in-store. Our decision to open our shop again is truthfully exciting and frightening at the same time. Like all of you, we have been prioritizing safety and sanitation for the past several weeks as COVID-19 has affected all of us in unique ways. As a small business owner, I have considered the many facets required to reopen safely and can assure you that we will hold ourselves to a very high standard.
To offer our customers the Teressa Foglia experience in its purest form, we are offering in-person appointments. Guidelines from our local government officials state that we must operate at half of our maximum capacity, meaning that each customer with an appointment can bring an additional three people with them to visit us, although we prefer solo visits or one additional guest. We are also taking the following measures for a lovely shopping experience:

Our space will remain a safe environment with no walk-in traffic until further notice due to the nature of our product.

All surfaces and products will be sanitized between each visit.

Social distance guidelines will be maintained.

Please wear a mask if you have one, if you do not, one will be provided for you. Our team will also be wearing masks.
- All payments will be contactless.
- Guests are welcome to wash their hands upon arriving and leaving in our boutiques bathroom.
We understand the sensitivity of this time, if there are any additional steps that we can take to ensure a pleasant visit, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Our appointments will require a $50 deposit (already have a TF hat? just shoot us a text, call or email, no need for a deposit). This deposit can be put towards your purchase that day, or if you don’t find something that makes your heart sing, it can be used as a credit for a future purchase (or credit as a gift to someone else). As always, custom hats + made-to-order hats will require an additional $200 deposit or can be paid in full when placing your order.
Although we are opening our shop in Malibu, we understand that many of you are hesitant to return to shopping in retail stores. To honor these feelings, we are committed to continuing the option of curbside pickup, home delivery, virtual appointments, and our newest feature of home try-on. You can learn more about all of these options here. Our entire in-store inventory is now online as well including our apparel, accessories and home goods (yay)!
The safety of our customers was at the heart of our decision to close our doors in March and remains equally as important as we choose to reopen today. We are here for you, and we are excited to welcome you back to our magical spaces. The team and I have sincerely missed seeing your faces and feeling your energy every day, and we cannot wait to catch up, although it may be at a distance.
